Guided tour of Lenny Kravitz's townhouse.
Paris has been Lenny Kravtiz's home since the release of his debut album, Let Love Rule, in 1989, which brought him success in Europe before gaining recognition in the United States.
The eight-bedroom mansion has high ceilings that give the space a sense of vastness, and in one of the rooms hangs a huge Swarovski chandelier, the creation of Kravitz Design — the interior design and furniture company he founded in 2003.
The palace displays a large number of museum-worthy pieces. Warhols, pop culture artifacts and childhood idols Muhammad Ali and James Brown, and a massive Basquiat painting adorn the home, with the latter taking pride of place in the entry hall facing the grand staircase.
The fireplace is framed by two enormous faux elephant tusks, originally designed by Pucci in the 1960s. In the center of the space, a striking sculpture of a red panther by Richard Orlinski hangs above a gold-and-ivory lacquered Elisse coffee table by Gabriella Crespi.
